They, with their smiles, their gazes, their thank you gestures. They are the reason why this event in La Cala was the perfect scenery for solidarity.
You have proven once more that all our efforts are worthwhile. Every time we have called for help, you have answered, and you are the reason a small association like “Voluntarios Por África” can do big things with your support.
The purpose of this event was not just to raise funds (which is crucial to our labor in Africa), but also to show you what we see, to make you a part of our projects and our mission.
We can only thank our collaborators and sponsors, as weel as the numerous volunteers and donors who help us carry our mission to help those in need. Thank you to all the guests and also to “FILA 0” to which many have selflessly contributed even if they could not come to the event.

SUMMARY OF THE 3RD MADRID EVENT
The sky was clear and at 13:00 the first assitants started trickling in and enjoying the solidary market (decorated by Carmen, María Santos and María Flores) with handmade products made by Carmen.
At the same time, our friends from Mundo Justo, Ana y Lorenzo, collaborated selling their various plants that the assistants were crazy about.
The food consisted on some appetizers before the main meal, Paella and BBQ cooked by Julián and his brother Alfonso, supervised by Pepe, one of the priests from the church Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo.
Once everyone ate their full, everyone gathered around the murals with the projects of the association, and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon with some stand up comedy by Jose Luis Buitrago and Jesús Garmo, finishing with magic from Mago Kike.
The only thing left was our customary lottery, where we gave away loads of wonderful gifts donated by VPA and our collaborators.
