SUANCES 2018
Ethiopia 2018 - Solidarity has no limits
AKNOWLEDGEMENTS
They, with their smiles, their gazes, their thank you gestures. They are the reason why this event in La Cala was the perfect scenery for solidarity.
You have proven once more that all our efforts are worthwhile. Every time we have called for help, you have answered, and you are the reason a small association like “Voluntarios Por África” can do big things with your support.
The purpose of this event was not just to raise funds (which is crucial to our labor in Africa), but also to show you what we see, to make you a part of our projects and our mission.
We can only thank our collaborators and sponsors, as well as the numerous volunteers and donors who help us to carry out our mission to aid those in need. Thank you to all the guests and also to “FILA 0” to which many have selflessly contributed even if they could not come to the event.

SUMMARY OF THE 3RD EDITION OF SUANCE´S EVENT
For the third consecutive year, we celebrated Ethiopia´s solidary party on the 24th of August, this year with the goal of consolidating our current projects.
Like always, the support was unbelievable, and the number of assistants was surprisingly high, as well as the number of people that showed up to help prepare the event. It´s hard to single out someone from the sheer number of collaborators, but we would like to thank La Cala for letting us use their venue for the fundraising.
The event started at 21:00, on time thanks to everyone who lent us a hand to have everything ready, and soon the venue started filling with adults and kids and their positivity and conversation. We enjoyed a suculent dinner followed by our craft market with some Ethiopian goods and products. Music was provided by the growing sensation “SoundOfWaves”, leading up to the presentation of our projects.
We would like to sincerely thank Fernando Campo, Jose Ramón Rodríguez (owners of “La Cala”) and our volunteer and friend Francis, without whose efforts this evening would not have been possible.
We would also like to thank our Cantabrian Representative Luis Obaya and our Markeitng and Communication director Meyetes Sánchez, together with volunteers not only form Cantabria but from all over Spain. Thanks to all of you for making this possible.
